The Lovers talk about a choice that compromises your values and your bonds, not just romantic love. They invite you to listen to the desire, observe the consequences and decide which relationship between people, ideas or paths deserves your full presence.
In Los Enamorados, the encounter is accompanied by different trees and a winged presence: desire, knowledge and values share the scene. The card expands love towards any choice that transforms the relationship with you or other people. Ask what you are really choosing by saying yes, what disclaimer that commitment contains, and whether both parties can express themselves freely. Coherence appears when desire, word and behavior stop contradicting each other.
