How we work
Here we bring together the methods, sources and editorial decisions that support Cat Omens. The documented tradition, the proper interpretation and the limits of each tool remain distinguished.
Tarot: tradition and interpretation
The Cat Omens deck takes as reference the structure of the 22 Rider–Waite–Smith Major Arcana, from The Fool (0) to The World (XXI), with Strength in VIII and Justice in XI.
The sources document the system and its history. The readings, questions and feline adaptations are Cat Omens' own editorial interpretation: they offer a pause for thought, not a prediction or a decision made on your behalf.
Your Birth Cards: Calculation Method
The calculation follows the method that Mary K. Greer publishes in Archetypal Tarot, 2021 edition. The operation and its reductions remain visible, including the relationship between The Fool 22 and 0 within this convention.
We use the proleptic Gregorian calendar to validate the date. It is a technical decision by Cat Omens and does not make the method a universal numerology or an objective description of a person.
Astros: solar profiles and celestial vocabulary
The twelve guardians go through signs, elements, modalities and glyphs of the Western zodiac to open a reading and a question in each profile.
The sources bring together the names, glyphs and conventions that support the route, while Cat Omens provides the voice, the scenes and the reflection questions.
Birth chart: conventions and limits
Public calculation uses tropical zodiac, apparent geocentric positions on the date true ecliptic, Whole Sign houses and published editorial orbs. When the birth time is not known, explore the entire calendar day and omit Ascendant, Midheaven, houses, and aspects.
The calculation is executed locally in a browser Worker. The date, time, and location are not sent, saved, and not included when sharing; the shared link contains only the canonical path.
Daily Horoscope: License and Operation
The daily horoscope requires a licensed feed that authorizes publication, adaptation, cache and treatment of the history, in addition to a verified daily operation for the twelve signs.
While contract, credentials, or atomic publication are missing, daily reading remains inactive. Another website is not scraped, a fixture is not presented as real content and yesterday's text is not reused as if it corresponded to today.
Rituals and Herbarium: editing and safety
La Casa Atenta is the editorial creation of Cat Omens. Each practice works on protection, good luck, renewal or energetic cleansing as a symbolic language, with actionable materials, steps and limits.
Rituals and Herbarium are reviewed according to exposure, ingestion, fire, smoke, oils, domestic products and coexistence with animals. The current collection only publishes practices with defined materials and visible safety measures where they change a decision.
Journal and Bestiary: history, culture, and astronomy
The Bestiary separates official constellation, historical figure, cultural astronomy figure and astronomical nickname. A feline likeness or illustration is not presented as a scientific name or as evidence of causal influence.
Factual statements are linked to institutional sources. The narratives and compositions that accompany them belong to the editorial layer of Cat Omens.

Images: origin, process and rights
The visual universe of Cat Omens is created by Altitud Studio and follows its editorial direction. When a generative tool is involved, the governed record preserves the process, references, and deliverables without turning the generation into an automatic approval.
Provisional art remains identified as such while human review is pending or rights remain unverified. An image available on the Internet is therefore not considered reusable.
