Reading the card

Firmness can also be kind.

Strength does not ask to impose itself on you, but rather to calmly hold what matters to you. The most difficult energy to govern can find a channel when you recognize it without fighting it or letting it decide for you.

Strength shows closeness in the face of a power that could intimidate. The lion does not disappear nor is it humiliated: it preserves its energy within a relationship based on presence and regulation. The card invites you to observe an intense impulse without immediately obeying it and to treat it as information, not as an enemy. Courage can consist of lowering your tone, asking for time, or calmly holding a boundary. Lasting firmness rarely needs show.
