Card of a black cat that advances before a big sun with a white rose, a bundle and a small dog next to a mountain path
Major Arcana 0The Fool

Reading the card

You don't need to know the whole path to take the first step.

The Fool marks the moment before turning a possibility into an experience. It invites you to move forward with curiosity without confusing confidence with carelessness: watch where you put your paw, carry what is necessary and leave room to surprise yourself.

In the Rider-Waite-Smith tradition, The Fool appears at the threshold: he carries little luggage, looks up, and has not yet turned the edge into a fall. The card does not advise ignoring risk, but rather distinguishing it from paralyzing fear. Your reading can begin by reviewing what you really need, what warning deserves attention, and what part of the path can only be learned by going through it. Starting lightly also means accepting responsibility for the next step.

    The edge of the road
